For many years, I have taken to walking in the beautiful countryside, close

to my home in Derbyshire, enjoying the easy access to the natural world 

that I am fortunate to enjoy.

 

Walking in such awe-inspiring surroundings, across glorious grassy meadows, full of colour, full of diversity, through woodlands full of old deciduous and conifer trees, a natural world full of diversity, full of nature`s creatures, full of amazing plants and flowers.

 

I have been inspired to write about what I have seen, about what I have experienced, and how it has made me feel. Nothing is quite like natural world, for getting under your skin, a world, a realm, a magical place that feeds your soul, that lifts your heart, that eases your mind, that chases away dark thoughts.
